That’s a Wrap for Victory Ridge Academy’s Early Learning Center!

Followers of our Project Build Blog are familiar with our work at Victory Ridge Academy, a school for children and adolescents with exceptional needs. A.O. Construction first broke ground on this three-building project in Lake Wales in July 2022, when we provided an outline of our plan and shared the floor plans with you. 

Our team has worked tirelessly to pull together classrooms and school grounds designed to provide educational and therapeutic settings that promote independence, academic success, and lifelong skills for all students who attend the academy.

The Early Learning Center was specifically created to act as a training center for students to learn everyday activities like cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. It is a conventional block building with an exterior stucco finish and a metal roof. 

We broke ground on the ELC building on September 19, 2022, and we’re proud to say that after 11 months of planning, building, pouring concrete, electrical work, HVAC, and so much more, the building is finally complete and ready for this school year. We’ve created this gallery to give you a look at the finished product.

Interior 

This hallway has a bottle filler, the doors are solid core doors with hollow metal frames, carpet squares, acoustical ceiling, and painted block finish.

The ELC building’s ADA bathrooms are fully finished with ceramic tile floors, ceramic wall bases, grab bars, and toilet paper holders.

Classrooms include carpet squares for flooring, acoustical ceiling with LED lights, vinyl base, solid core stained doors with ADA hardware.
