We may be coming to the end of the year, but A.O. Construction isn’t slowing down!
Remember when we first broke ground on Victory Ridge Academy, a school for children with exceptional needs, in July? Well, today you get a peek at how it’s all coming together.
This is a multibuilding project that includes a 20,000-square-foot Early Learning Center (ELC), a Skills Center Building, and a Bus Barn building to provide bus drivers with a designated space to work. This month, our team poured the slab and did some deep digging, installing all the underground plumbing and electrical work. We are currently at our 4-foot lift of laying block walls, and we will continue up to a height of 12 feet.
The next stage of this project includes setting the wood trusses, which we expect to happen sometime in mid- to late November. There’s still work to be done, but we’re proud of the way Victory Ridge is turning out so far. We anticipate wrapping this project up in July 2023.
In early September, we shared the project’s first update. At that point, we had created the formation of the slab for the ELC building. We included photos of the perimeter of the formation, you can check those out here.
