Let’s Check In on Victory Ridge Academy’s Progress

For 10 months now we have been working on a three-building project for Victory Ridge Academy, a Lake Wales-based public charter school serving children with exceptional needs. 

Early Learning Center

The Early Learning Center (ELC) has seen some great progress since our last update in April. These photos  give you a look at what our team has been working on in the past few weeks. We’re slated to complete this building by the end of June!

One of the hallways in the ELC. It’s now painted, and the ceiling grid installed. The next step is to add flooring (carpet squares), and install ceiling tiles.
Here you can see the HVAC ductwork is installed, electrical conduit is run above the ceiling, and ceiling grid is finished. Our last step is to install ceiling tiles.

Class bathroom for students. It is complete wainscot tile on the walls and ceramic tile flooring but needs bathroom accessories to complete.

Bus Barn

The 3,000-square-foot VRA Bus Barn will serve as an essential space for drivers to complete paperwork and perform minor maintenance to their vehicles. We expect this site to be done as early as the second week of June!

Duplex

The purpose of the VRA Duplex is for students with learning disabilities to perform everyday tasks while being observed from another room. This type of learning is fundamental to VRA, so we need to make sure to give them ample space for their students. Right now, one room is furnished with a washer, dryer, sink, refrigerator, stove, etc. and the opposite room is for observation.

We expect to be finished with this building by the end of June.
