It’s been nearly five months since we broke ground at the AquaCal construction site in St. Petersburg. Through summer, fall and now winter, our team has worked tirelessly on perfecting this project for our clients and friends in the pool and spa industry.
Our last update on November 14, focused on the interior framing and how building continued despite the storm. It’s been about a month and a lot has changed.
Photos 1 and 12 show the progression of the front wall. Photo 1 was taken on October 31, and photo 12 on December 5. Look at the drastic progress made in roughly over a month and one week!
Photos 5 and 7 are some cool shots of the steel framing installation for the windows and doors.
Photo 11 shows the first two runs of wall panels. These wall panels are 2 ½” insulated wall panels. We field cut both the doors and windows in each panel on site!
Photo 12 shows the completed wall. We’re loving this color combo on the exterior. The next step will be to install the windows.
Picture 8 and 9 give you a look at the side wall. If you remember, this building is being constructed between two existing buildings. That means the side sheets actually start on one of those pre-existing buildings. We’re moving on to installing windows here, as well.
