A.O. Construction is dedicated to providing the highest quality construction services in Central Florida. Our latest project is a renovation to an existing car wash in collaboration with SVN (Saunders Ralston Dantzler Real Estate), who will be managing the property and construction.
The property is owned by Imperial Florida Partners, a Lakeland-based commercial real estate investment group. The Parkway Car Wash we’ll be remodeling is located in Lakeland, and the existing car wash will be completely remodeled with new equipment, larger bays, and renovations to the parking lot.
Let’s take a look at our progress on this project so far.
First up is a picture showing where we’ve uprooted and removed existing, overgrown vegetation. We then graded the area and installed fabric and lime rock, which you can see here to the right of the retention wall.
Here you can see where we’re doing demolition of the existing slab to install a new continuous footer to support the block wall.
This picture shows us digging out the previously mentioned footer. The trench drain in the right of this picture will be filled with concrete to become the future vacuum bay.
The first photo in this series shows the demolition of an existing wall. These subsequent photos show an overview of our demolition of the wall. The other walls in the second and third photos will remain.
Above, we’re demolishing concrete and asphalt in order to extend the existing bay by 22 feet. A new trench will be installed and concrete will be poured back.
This photo shows another view of the footer being excavated and formed.
Finally, this is the trench drain that is going to be extended.
We started demolition on the property on December 15, and we expect the project to be completed by the end of March this year.
