Back in October, A.O. Construction started a project to build a new location for Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers in Lakeland. We’ve been hard at work on the project since. Let’s take a closer look at our progress so far.
First up, we have a picture from the lobby, showing the new ADA bathroom and mechanical closet. The third picture gives a closer look at the bathroom, where you can see the stub-outs for the sink and toilet that we’ve put in place.
This is where the water heater will be installed.
This is the future reception desk coming together. The lower part has been framed and the electrical is in place. Next up, we’ll be installing the drywall. The upper area has already been framed and drywalled.
These pictures show the hallway where we’ve installed drywall and put wires in place for the light fixtures. The final picture shows the hallway looking into the Office Lab.
Here you can see the first of several exam rooms the finished location will have. In this room, we’ve removed partition wall to make the room larger. You can also see where the room sink and electrical have been stubbed.
Here we have another exam room, where we’ve started taping the drywall joints. After we finish applying the mud to the walls, we’ll be ready to apply spray texture. After this, they’ll be painted.
Here are two more exam rooms in progress.
This project continues to go well, and we expect to be finished by the end of January. From here, we’ll be completing the drywall, then painting the walls. After that, the electrician, plumber, and HVAC technicians can do their trim out, installing switches, receptacles, fixtures, A/C grilles, and more.
