It’s so close you can almost taste it! We’re sure you’ve been closely following our work building Wauchula’s new Woody’s BBQ location. We’ve given you several updates along the way, and now, the project is in its final stages. Let’s take a look at the finishing touches we’re putting on the building to get Woody’s BBQ ready to open its doors.
Here you can see the exterior of the building, as well as a new sign by the road. We’ve demolished several overhangs and porches off the existing building to give it a cleaner look.
Here’s a peek at the entrance of the building. We’ve installed flooring and covered it with paper to protect it from damage during the final construction. We’ve also completed all the above ceiling work, including HVAC, electrical, and insulation, and installed the acoustical ceiling grid. From here, we’ll be installing LED light fixtures and ceiling tiles.
The photo above shows the completed bar area. From here, we’ll be installing finishes.
Our work on the ADA bathrooms is progressing nicely. We’ve installed the flooring and bathroom fixtures, as well as installing FRP board on the walls. From here, we’ll be installing bathroom accessories, such as grab bars, toilet paper dispensers, and mirrors.
Above is the opening we’ve created for the smoker, which will be installed on the outside of the block opening. The opening to the right of the smoker is an exterior hollow metal door.
Above, one of our workers celebrates a job well done bear a brick feature that will form a partition wall between the two dining areas. The ceiling in this area has been completed and the ceiling grid has been installed, as well as the flooring. Black ceiling tiles will be installed next.
The project continues to go well, and we’re still on track to finish this project by November. We hope you have your appetites ready, Wauchula!
