This week, we’re excited to be working on a building in Auburndale for the East Polk County Association of Realtors, or EPCAR. Locals might be familiar with EPCAR, a trade association founded to meet the needs of realtors seeking to expand their business.
A.O. Construction is completely gutting then building out the interior. The plan is to create a new staff office, board member offices, two conference rooms, a reception area, break room, and two gang bathrooms measuring at approximately 7,300 square feet in total.
The following pictures provide a look at the job site before construction. We have received the permit and are hoping to start working on it this week.
This is a look at the exterior of the building, which we affectionately call “The Banana.”
This is the future reception area. The existing kitchen will be demolished to make way for new floors and ceiling installations.
We’re planning to make this the future conference room. The walls will be reconfigured, with new flooring and ceilings. The two conference rooms will be separated by an operable partition, allowing it to be used as an event space, as well.

This is the future staff office. The ceiling will soon be covered with new drywall to get rid of the popcorn ceiling. New flooring will be installed. We’ll also install new LED lighting and new windows to add more light to the room.
This future hallway will lead from the conference rooms to the reception area.

We will be giving the exterior a facelift with new paint, new roof, awnings, and a new stone façade.
