Community is everything to us here at A.O. Construction, so when we make progress on a project, we love to share it with all of our friends and neighbors. Today, we’re sharing the progress we’ve made on Lakeland’s Parkway Car Wash at 3909 S. Florida Avenue.
We’ve teamed up with SVN (Saunders Ralston Dantzler Real Estate) to complete this renovation, and they’re handling the management of the property and construction. The property is owned by Imperial Florida Partners, a Lakeland based commercial real estate investment group. Since we started the project with demolition on the property December 15, we’ve really re-created a fresh, new look for the business — with new equipment, larger bays, and renovations to the parking lot. We’re scheduled to complete this project at the end of June.
We first shared our work on this project in January, and we posted an update in March. Check out our most recent progress!
These photos show the front of the carwash. These first two bays will be vacuum bays, and the sign will be recessed into the top of building.
These two vacuum bays will service two cars per bay and will offer quality vacuum equipment.
This photo shows an existing equipment room. We are demolishing everything hanging on the walls in this room, which will then be used to maintain the new carwash equipment . This room will get a new ceiling, lighting, and paint.
Above, you can see the automatic carwash bay, which will offer top-notch service. After the carwash equipment is installed, this bay will receive a new ceiling, paint, and cutting-edge LED lighting.
The room on the left will house a change machine and vending machine. It will be air conditioned and will serve as an operations room. The block walls on the right will be painted up to 13 feet and will have pre colored metal paneling finished to the top of the roof.
