At the start of this year, we began a partnership with SVN (Saunders Ralston Dantzler Real Estate) to renovate Lakeland’s Parkway Car Wash at 3909 S. Florida Avenue, which is owned by Imperial Florida Partners, a Lakeland-based commercial real estate investment group. We’ve shared several updates on the project so far, and now we have one more for you as we approach the finish line on this project.
First, let’s look at some before pictures. These photos show the exterior before we installed the metal siding.
On the exterior, we’ve applied stucco to the block and painted it. We’ve also installed metal sheeting and black trim around the perimeter of the top of the building, as well as gutters and downspouts. Currently, we’re in the process of installing blue poly metal paneling.
In the car wash bay, we’ve finished interior painting and installed lights, metal sheathing for the ceiling, and railings for the automatic car wash. In addition, we’ve put in new concrete and a new trench drain.
The automatic car wash machine is fully installed, and the vacuum bay boasts a new metal sheet ceiling.
Finally, we have the equipment and maintenance room, with new painted block and a new epoxy floor.
We started this project back in January, and now we’re nearing the final stages. From here, we still have to asphalt the area around the car wash, and we expect to finish this project by mid-July.
