Making Headway on Hillsborough Project for Caladesi

As a leader in the Central Florida construction market, we love building and maintaining relationships with other local businesses.

We are completing a project for Caladesi Construction, a fellow construction company in the Western Florida market. We work with the Largo-based company quite often, working on a majority of their metal building erections.

This pre-engineered metal building, manufactured by Kansas City-based manufacturer Butler MFG, is 70 feet by 150 feet. It is slated to be a de-sedimentation building, which will be used to store various materials like dirt, lime, rocks, etc.

The photos above give you a mini tour of some of the work we’ve put in so far:

  • Photo 1: Setting the steel columns. (This is one of the first steps in erecting the building.)
  • Photo 2: Setting the steel rafters.
  • Photo 3: Setting the roof purlins. The purlins offer structural support to the roof and also help increase resistance to Florida’s heavy winds.
  • Photo 4: The roofing is almost complete.

We just finished the framing today! Caladesi will now start painting that framing, they’re going with a shade of blue. Then, we will install the wall and roof sheets. The project will be considered complete a few weeks after the paint is dry.

We’re delighted to bring this building to Hillsborough County. We value all of our current clients and future clients to come, as we grow and expand with the communities we serve.
