The year is off to a booming start, and our projects are really starting to shine. We’re excited to give an update on a project we’re doing on the West coast of Florida.
Back in November, A.O. Construction started a project for Creative Shade Solutions to build them new facilities in Tarpon Springs so their business can continue to grow. They’ve been providing commercial shade structure design and fabrication for more than 18 years, and they’ve outgrown their existing facilities.
The project entails erecting two 10,000-square-foot Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings, which will be used for fabrication and offices. Now, we have another update for you on our latest progress on the project.
In this first picture we can see the before and after of where an overhead door opening has been framed and trimmed. Next, we’ll install the overhead door.
This photo shows a closeup of the galvanized roof purlins we’ve installed.
This picture from the exterior shows the block wall, wall girts, exterior side wall sheeting, roof purlins, overhead door opening, columns, and rafters.
The photo above shows the underside of the roof being installed, with the insulation, rafters, flange braces, and bracing in place.
Here is an interior of the wall and roof, plus insulation being stored under tarps until it’s ready to be installed.
This is a great show of the exterior side wall as well as the standing seam roof from above.

And these final photos show the progress we’ve made on the exterior walls and roof.
We began this project in early November of last year, and we expect to be finished with both buildings by the end of this year.
