At A.O. Construction, we love repeat customers, because they’re proof we’re doing things right. After our project to complete a new location for Florida Dermatology, they knew just where to turn to help them build yet another location.
This new project is located at 6743 US 98 North in Lakeland, and the buildout will consist of a new waiting area, reception area, bathrooms, four new exam rooms, a lab, a breakroom, and a new office. We’ll be creating the new floor plan by building new interior partition walls and putting in new LVT flooring, acoustical ceilings, paint and base, HVAC, electrical, and more. The renovation totals 1,500 square feet.
We just started with the demolition phase of this project.
We began by knocking down the existing partition walls, reception desk, flooring, bathroom fixtures, and acoustical ceiling, to prepare for the rest of the buildout.
We also trenched the existing concrete so that we can install the new plumbing lines to accommodate the new floor plans. From here, we’ll be installing the drains and pouring the concrete floor back. As you can see, the trench covers a lot of area; this is due to the sinks in the multiple exam rooms.
There are a variety of connections to the existing drain lines, which will be preserved.
We had to cut the trench to accommodate the sink drain lines on the other side of the office.
Here we’ve tied in the drain lines for the plumbing.
