The Design/Build model at A.O. Construction allows all members of a construction project, from contractor to designer to owner, to work together as a team. Our clients have direct communication with everyone involved in their developments, which promotes transparency and accountability in our work. We started working on a new building for Chemical Containers, Inc. in the beginning of August 2022. CCI is a distributor of a complete line of liquid storage tanks, parts, and equipment with expertise in the industries of agriculture, roadside vegetation management, fire trucks, and golf/turf.
We wanted to make sure this new construction is equipped with everything CCI needs to continue leading equipment distribution in Florida, so we’re in the process of building a 20,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building for them in Lake Wales.
Check out these before shots from our last CCI Project Build Blog post. In addition to the last updates we shared, we have now insulated and sheeted the walls of this building.
The photos above show about a quarter of the roof sheeted, but since these pictures were taken we have been able to completely sheet the entire roof.
All of the site work is 100% complete! We’ve even included a new one-acre retention pond on the property. Yesterday our crew started the installation process on the overhead doors for this new building, which will be used to assemble and fabricate spray trucks. We expect to complete this project in late October 2022.
