Back in June, A.O. Construction started work on a new building for the East Polk County Association of Realtors (EPCAR) in Auburndale. We’ve shared our progress several times along the way, and now, we’re proud to announce the project is nearly complete! Let’s take a look at how EPCAR’s new building is shaping up as we put on the last finishing touches.
Here you can see the employee area. We’ve put in new drywall on the ceiling, LED light fixtures, carpet flooring, wood baseboards, and painted all the walls. We’ve also put in a new storefront entrance door with a window, a 12-light feature window at the front of the building, and two storefront exterior stationary windows.
These pictures show the outside of the building. We’ve put in a new standing seam metal roof with new gutters and downspouts, as well as storefront glass doors. We’ve also painted the exterior of the building and installed canopies over the entrances, and pavers are currently being installed.
This shows the break room. We put in cabinets and countertops, luxury vinyl plank flooring, new plumbing with a sink faucet, and LED lighting, as well as new paint.
Next up is the lobby area. We put in luxury vinyl plank flooring, 2’x2’ acoustical ceiling and grid, electrical, LED fixtures), a new reception desk, and a new coffee bar cabinet. We also put in a new counter for filling out paperwork, HVAC, and storefront entrance doors, as well as new paint.
These pictures show the bathrooms. We’ve put in a new tile feature wall, new tile flooring, new acoustical ceiling and grid, and new paint. We also installed new furniture and fixtures, new LED lighting, and new bathroom accessories like grab bars and toilet paper dispensers.
Finally, we have the conference room. We installed carpet flooring, drywall, and acoustical ceilings and grid. We also put in new electrical stubbed from the floor for the conference tables, new hollow metal exit doors, new baseboards, and new electrical, HVAC, and paint.
