At A.O. Construction, we specialize in all kinds of construction projects, from commercial to medical to industrial and more. One of our more exciting ongoing projects is our ongoing remodeling of DayDreams Day & Med Spa in South Lakeland’s Lakeside Village.
In August 2022, we finished Phase 1 of the project , which involved expanding DayDreams by doing an interior buildout of space the business acquired next door.
For Phase 2, we’ll be renovating the existing business, which consists of about 4,200 square feet of space. We started Phase 2 at the start of the month, and we expect to finish by the start of 2024.
Let’s take a look at our progress so far on Phase 2 of this project.
In these first pictures, you can see our progress in the front lobby and reception area. We’re removing the existing area over the reception desk, and will be raising the ceiling height above the desk to match the rest of the room. We’re also installing new luxury vinyl tile flooring.
Here are two more pictures from the lobby area showing our progress on constructing walls for two new multipurpose rooms. We’re also installing new electrical, HVAC, and flooring.
This photo shows the progress of the office expansion. We’re eliminating an existing wall in order to expand the size of the office and installing new electrical, HVAC, and flooring.
This set of photos shows our progress on the manicure/pedicure room. The first picture shows the demolition, where we removed the flooring and the vanity. We’ve now installed new ceramic tile flooring and wallpaper, and the room is almost complete.
The project is going well and is on track to finish by the start of next year, so keep your eyes peeled for a new and improved DayDreams Day & Med Spa!
