At A.O. Construction, we believe strongly in building relationships with residents and businesses in our community. We’ve had the privilege to do just that with the folks at Caladesi Construction, and we work on a majority of their metal building erections.
We’ve worked with them on a number of projects so far, including erecting pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs) at the Tampa Dewatering Facility and another for use as a de-sedimentation building in Hillsborough County.
Now, we’re proud to announce we’re working together once again to erect a PEMB at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Tampa.
The PEMB is manufactured by Butler MFG. We started work on this project September 5, and we expect to complete it by September 15. Let’s take a quick tour of our progress so you can see what we’ve been up to.
Here, you can see where we’ve set the columns, and started setting rafters and eave struts, the first steps in the process.
Here you can see us installing the roof purlins and the rod bracing in the side and end walls.
Finally, you can see us installing the wall purlins, which is the current stage of the project.
We’re making great progress so far on this project. From here, we’ll finish installing the wall purlins. Then, we’ll install the insulation, roof sheets, and wall sheets, and then the structure will be ready to go!
