One of our favorite clients to work with here at A.O. Construction is Jarrett Gordon Ford Lincoln, and we’ve been having a great time working on two separate projects for them. We recently shared an update on the new Lincoln dealership we’re building for them in Winter Haven, and now we have another update on our project for them in Davenport.
The project in Davenport involves erecting a 22,000-square-foot Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) to be used as a heavy-duty truck service center. Once complete, it will feature 19 service bays, 3,000 square feet of interior buildout, and an upstairs structural steel mezzanine to be used as storage. We’ve offered several updates along the way, and now we’re back with another look at our progress as we complete the wall sheeting and standing seam roof system.
We’ve fully completed the structural steel for the two-story air-conditioned office and parts storage.
In the coming days, we’ll be completing the concrete deck.
We’ve also finished installing the overhead doors.
Once complete, the building will operate under a full automatic fire suppression system, which we are currently installing.
We’re in process of completing the final trim details on the PEMB, as well as working on site prep for the asphalt paving.
The finished building will feature publicly accessible, fast EV chargers, and we’ve completed installing the transformer that will supply power to the building and chargers.
From here, we’ll be starting the interior framing for the parts office, break room, and bathrooms, as well as roughing in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
