Taking a break at work is important for maintaining productivity, and a quality breakroom can make that break all the more restful.
Recently, Universal Forest Products/Robbins Lumber Facility called A.O. Construction with a request to expand the breakroom for their facility in Tampa. The buildout consisted of removing the existing exterior wall to build a 1,500-square-foot extension, allowing us to double its size. We also added two ADA bathrooms, plus new electrical, HVAC, plumbing, partition walls, doors, flooring, acoustical ceilings, LVP flooring, bathroom fixtures and accessories, kitchen cabinets, and a new coat of paint.
We shared an update with you back in June, and now we’ve completed the project and have another update to show you how it turned out.
We replaced the existing tile flooring with new LVP and added a new base and a fresh coat of paint in the existing breakroom space to the left of the columns.
To the right of the center columns is the new addition to the breakroom, which doubled the room’s total size.
The kitchenette is updated with new cabinets, a new countertop, and a new sink.
On the new exterior wall of the breakroom, we installed new T-111 siding, 1×4 trim, and applied new paint.
The new ADA bathrooms feature beautiful ceramic tile flooring, bathroom partitions, paint, ceiling tile, and ADA fixtures.
