Back in June, A.O. Construction got started on a new building for the East Polk County Association of Realtors (EPCAR). We’re still hard at work on the project and on pace to finish by the first week of November. Let’s look at the latest updates in today’s Project Build Blog.
First up is our progress on the women’s restrooms. We’ve installed the toilet fixtures and floating vanities, and ceramic tile has been installed on the splash wall and partially on the floor. From here, we’ll install the remainder of the tile, as well as sinks, partitions, bathroom accessories, and acoustical ceiling tiles.
Here you can see the men’s restroom, where we’ve finished installing toilets and urinals as well as ceramic tile. Next, we’ll install sinks, partitions, bathroom accessories, and acoustical ceiling tiles.
This is the fire-safe room, where the next step will be installing luxury vinyl flooring.
Up next is the new employee office, where we’ve installed a new storefront door and three new windows. We’ve also put in a 12-lite window feature in the center of the wall. From here, we’ll be installing luxury vinyl flooring.
These photos show you our progress on the new conference room. The next steps will be to install the ceiling grid as well as luxury flooring and a partition door.
This picture shows how beautifully the lobby is coming together.
Stepping outside the building, we have a shot of the exterior façade that shows off the 12-lite window with faux barn doors. We’ve installed new Hardie board siding as well. From here, we’ll install exterior lights and do some trim work on the roof.
Finally, we have some shots of the front, back, and side of the building exterior. We’ve put in the employee storefront entrance and installed new storefront windows, pavers, and A/C. The next step will be to finish installing the gutter.
