At A.O. Construction, we love collaborations. So when we had the chance to work with Springer Construction on a project for Hilltop Church in Winter Haven, we leapt at the opportunity.
The full project entails building a pre-engineered metal building made by Dean Steel Buildings, with a standing seam roof supplied by McElroy Roofing Systems. We’re erecting the steel structure and installing the roof in-house, with the full structure covering about 13,000 square feet.
We’ve given a couple of updates along the way as we’ve worked on this project, and now we have one final update as the project approaches completion. Let’s check it out!
In addition to erecting the building itself, we’ve also installed vinyl-backed insulation on top of the roof purlins for temperature control.
One of the star players of this project is of course the standing seam roof, which is a beautiful dark green that complements the rest of the building.
At this point, the project is almost fully complete and the building is looking fantastic with the walls completed and a fresh coat of paint.

We began this project with setting the steel on June 17, and now we’re almost completely done with the project except for some trim. Soon, Hilltop Church will be able to open the new building to their congregation, and we’re so pleased to have worked with Springer Construction to complete this project.
