When A.O. Construction built a new location for Florida Dermatology in Lakeland, they were so pleased with our work they decided to partner up with us for yet another project.
The project is to build a new office for Florida Dermatology in North Lakeland at 6743 U.S. 98 North. Previously, we shared an update with you as the project entered the demolition phase. Now, we’re back with another update for you all as we start partitioning the space and putting in HVAC, electrical, and more.
We’ve started framing the partition walls with metal studs in the entrance to the building, and we’ve roughed in HVAC, plumbing, and electric. Next, we’ll be insulating the partition walls and then hanging the drywall.
We’re installing a backer in the walls of the exam room to support new fixtures. We’ve also roughed in plumbing for the new sink and run electrical wire through the conduits.
The hallway that leads to the exam roofs, offices, storage, and bathrooms is starting to take shape as we frame the partition walls.
In the front exam room, we’ve installed furring strips on the block walls in order to install the drywall.
We were able to preserve one section of existing drywall that didn’t need to be demolished for the new floor plan.
We’ve roughed in electric and installed a hat channel on the block wall in the electrical room. From here, we’ll be installing the panel box, insulation, and drywall.
Although we’re clearly still in the very early stages of this project, the new office is shaping up nicely.
We started this project with demolition August 1, and at our current pace, we expect to finish by the end of the year.
