This week we are featuring a project with a customer that’s contracted us for construction work at multiple sites. Packaging Corporation of America offers full-service package solutions, utilizing renewable resources and maintaining energy efficiency as they operate.
At their Auburndale location, we constructed a single reception area into two new offices, each of which is approximately 200 square feet. The interior build-out consisted of new framing, new drywall, two new doors, new electrical, new HVAC, infilling an exterior door, blocking, and moving a fire pull station.
Here’s a closer look at some of our work:
The photos above show the transformation is the new space took shape. The completed office includes new walls, paint, cabinets, carpet base, light fixtures, and climate controls specifically for this office.
This new door leads into the office. We stained and applied the polyurethane to match the existing doors and installed new ADA lever hardware.
On the left you can see the divider wall being constructed between the two offices. On the right is the finished product — the completed divider wall and the new front wall with the accent color.
The photo on the left shows the outside partition wall that ties into the existing wall. At right, you can see the completed partition wall.
Here you can see that accent color continued on the wall of one of the new offices.
Once we had the permit in hand, the project took approximately a month from start to finish.
